This tour will give you the opportunity to travel on a number of different forms of transport with a roast lunch and afternoon tea included.

Participants will travel on the 15” gauge 9-mile Bure Valley Railway from Aylsham to Wroxham, followed by a cruise on the Norfolk Broads on the beautiful Mississippi-style Paddle Boat Southern Comfort from Horning.

 

Here’s the itinerary:

08.30 Meet at Newbury Park (Central Line) bus station for prompt 8.45 departure

The coach will travel direct to Aylsham station, where a representative of the Bure Valley Railway will explain the route and history of the line.

11.30 Roast lunch with tea or coffee. Please state any dietary requirements

13.00 Depart by train to Wroxham

14.00 Rejoin coach to travel to Horning

15.00 Cruise departs with tea/coffee and a slice of cake

16.45 Return journey to Newbury Park

19.45 (approx.) arrive Newbury Park

 

The total cost is £85.00 per person including:-

  • Return coach travel
  • Roast lunch
  • Rail journey Aylsham to Wroxham
  • Broads cruise (90 minutes)
  • Services of tour manager
