8th February:

Routemaster Association - Route 2 Roadrun

RMOOA 70th anniversary roadrun over route 2 to commemorate the first day of RM1 in public service on Thu 9th Feb 1956. The public are welcome to view the event at any safe point, Golders Green to Crystal Palace, but this is a roadrun not a running day.

15th February:

Epping Ongar Railway - Winter Bus Event

Our Winter bus event will see additional vintage bus rides around the local area. Our steam and diesel heritage trains will be running too, as well as the usual 339 bus service to Epping Underground station.

Railway 200 - Kingston Station

14th March:

London Bus Museum - Route 38 Heritage Day

Between 1000 and 1700, the London Bus Museum will be running free heritage buses dating from the 1950s to 1970s alongside the normal daily service on route 38.

20th - 22nd March:

Bluebell Railway - Spring Steam Gala

Across the weekend, visitors can look forward to intensive steam workings, the sight and sound of multiple historic locomotives in action, and numerous photographic opportunities as trains traverse the picturesque Sussex countryside.

Amersham & District Motorbus Society - Watford Bus Running Day

Commenorating 60 years of the 724 with a special Green Line focused event, with some other routes too!

Acton Depot Open Days: Icons of London

South East Bus Festival:

The annual South East Bus Festival takes place at Kent Showground, alongside the A249 near Maidstone. The event brings together a huge number of buses and coaches, old and new, from across the South East and beyond.

Epping Ongar Railway - Spring Steam Gala

The home fleet of steam locomotives, along with visiting locomotives, come out to be put through their paces over some of the most challenging gradients in preservation.

Spa Valley Railway - Diesel Gala:

Step back to the days when diesel power was the mainstay of our country’s railways! Join us for three days of heritage diesel action between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge!

Imberbus

Providing a classic bus service across the Salisbury Plain to the lost village of Imber. As in previous years, several London Transport Routemaster buses (plus a few newer ones) will start from outside Warminster Rail Station and will operate as an ordinary bus service.

Routemaster Association - Route 159 run & Christmas Lights tour

RMOOA 21st anniversary roadrun from the Ace Cafe over route 159 to commemorate the last day of RMs in normal public service on Fri 9th Dec 2005, followed by a Christmas Lights run in the evening.
