Ship of Dreams: The Story of HM Airship R101

Paul Ross, President of the Airship Heritage Trust, will talk about the 1924-30 Imperial Airship Programme and the story of HM Airship R101. He will look at the dream of airship routes linking the far corners of the British Empire and how the story came to fiery end on a hillside in France in October 1930. This year marks the 95th Anniversary of that disaster.
