Friends' funding supports London Transport Museum's operation of heritage buses at external events, opening up the experience of travelling on these buss to a wider audience.

Events regularly attended include heritage bus running days on London bus routes; events at the London Bus Museum at Broolands; and the annual Imberbus event, when heritage buses operate on Salisbury Plain.
