The Trustees are collectively responsible for the sound governance of the Friends; the charity's' financial stability; and for ensuring that everything the organisation does is in line with its charitable objectives.

Mike is Chairman of the London Transport Museum Friends.
He had a career in television production; is a Trustee of a number of Charities, and is Chair of Rail Future Wessex.
Graham Miller
Graham took over the role of Chief Executive on 1st January 2023.
As a Trustee, Graham is also responsible for identifying Museum projects which are to be funded each year by the Friends; and for monitoring ongoing progress.
David Martin
David is Treasurer, responsible for Friends’ budgeting and financial matters. Prepares quarterly budget reports, annual accounts and liaises with auditors.
Tony Dewick
Tony is a Trustee and Charity Secretary. He is secretary to the Trustee Board and Operating Committee and also handles general enquiries about the Friends on matters not covered by anyone else.
Barry LeJeune
Barry was Friends' Chief Executive until the end of 2022, when he handed over that responsibility to Graham Miller. Barry remains a member of the Friends' Trustee Board. He is Consultant Editor of Friends’ News.
Olivia Carlton
Olivia has been a Trustee of the Friends for a number of years, having been appointed to the previous charity prior the inception of the new CIO in 2020. She was Head of Occupational Health for Transport for London, retiring in 2018.
Rob Mason
Rob spent 18 years with London Transport, latterly as the Underground’s Director of Stations and Trains. He moved to Australia in 2005, initially working for RailCorp, managing passenger train operations throughout New South Wales. Rob became CEO of RailCorp in 2008 and then took over as CEO of NSW’s regional passenger railway operations in 2013. He retired from full–time employment in 2017, undertaking consultancy work for Australian rail authorities. Rob also served as Chair of Transport Heritage NSW, overseeing a variety of heritage and restoration projects. He is now back in the UK.
Philip Thrower
Phil's professional background is in insurance and claims, where he has 40 years experience. He currently leads on these activities for Network Rail where he has worked since 2002. Phil joined the Board of Trustees in 2018 and provides support on areas of governance including insurance for Friends' activities. Phil has interests in both bus and rail; the latter includes working as a steam driver on the Swanage Railway, where he has volunteered for 30 years.
Steven McGunigel
Steven has a background in commercial positions with major retailers and within the film and TV industry in a number of partnership roles and has recently joined Canary Wharf Group heading up People Engagement. He has a focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Corporate Social Responsibility; and Change and Transformation, as well as Internal Communications. Steven is a lifelong transport enthusiast, regular London Transport user and passionate member of LTM Friends and other transport societies.
Elizabeth MacKay
Elizabeth is a Trustee of the Friends' charity in her capacity as Director and CEO of London Transport Museum.
Prior to that appointment in May 2023, Elizabeth was the Museum's Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director; she previously held a wide range of appointments in the cultural sector.
Oliver Green
Oliver is an author and transport historian who has written widely on the history of public transport in London, and in particular on the art and design of London Transport. He is the former head curator and now research fellow at the London Transport Museum.
