Today saw another garage open day in support of the Year of the Bus: this time it was the turn of Metroline to host at its Potters Bar Garage, first opened by the London General Omnibus Company in 1930.
The garage is currently home to more buses than at any time in its history, and this was reflected in another large public attendance.
The museum sent along DMS1, RT4712 (in its golden jubilee livery) and FRM1. The latter was most appropriate as it spent some of its most productive times in service on Potters Bar local route 284 in the mid 1970s - not that many of its admirers would remember!
