Award for Friends News

Friends News was runner up again in this year's awards for the best musuem Friends' newsletter.

The quarterly magazine edited by Friends' Chairman, Barry Le Jeune beat loads of other entrants in the awards run by the British Association of Friends of Museums.

Barry is seen at the association's annual conference in Aberdeen, receiving his award from President, Lloyd Grossman, together with a cheque for £100.

London Transport Museum Friends have been runners-up twice before, making this something of a hat trick.
