HERITAGE BUS EVENTS
On Sunday 8th February, RM1 will be taking part in a road run to mark the 70th anniversary of its entry into passenger service. The event is being organised by the Routemaster Owners and Operators Association
.
RM 1 will leave Golders Green around 10.00 and travel over route 2 to Crystal Palace, where it should arrive around 12.30. Participating vehicles will be on display in the Crystal Palace coach Park until 15.00.
Please note that this is a road run only; no passengers will be carried.
Participation by RM1 is subject to there being no snow, ice or grit on the roads.
Here are other forthcoming heritage bus events which LTM vehicles are planned to attend:
Saturday 14th March: London Bus Museum Running Day on Route 38. LTM intend to operate RM1. Its first trip should leave Victoria at 10.08.
Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th April: Acton Depot Open Weekend.
Sunday 19th April: London Bus Museum Spring Event. LTM attendance still to be confirmed.
Sunday 3rd May: Brighton HCVS Run with FRM1 earmarked to appear.
Operation of LTM heritage vehicles is made possible by the volunteers in the Heritage Bus Team.
