Celebrating 70 years of the Routemaster

Friends' volunteers supported London Transport Museum's attendance at the special event to mark the 70th anniversary of the delivery of the first Routemaster bus to London Transport in 1954. The event took place on 20th and 21st July at the site of the former Chiswick works, now a business park.

LTM's two prototype Routemasters, RM 1 and RM 2 both attended, as did LTM's Routemaster coach RCL 2229.
