FRIENDS SALES SUCCESS AT AMERSHAM

FRIENDS SALES SUCCESS AT AMERSHAM

The Friends' sales stall did good business at Amersham on 9th and 10th September, supporting the operation of the Museum's 1938 tube stock train.

Sales over the two days totalled just over £3,500, bringing the Sales Team's results in the year to date to a very impressive £19,100. This revenue is used by the Friends to support Museum projects and programmes.

Friends' volunteers stewarded the train runs on each day (to Watford and back, with positioning runs from and to Harrow on the Hill).

Friends' volunteers also organised and staffed the connecting heritage bus service between Amersham station and the Old Town (for Amersham Heritage Day events) working in collaboration with the Amersham and District Motor Omnibus Society
