ACTON CARNIVAL

ACTON CARNIVAL

Acton Carnival

The Museum’s 1953 RF bus (537) made an impressive appearance at Acton Carnival on Saturday 8th July, alongside a team of bus drivers (provided by the Friends) , other volunteers and members of the Museum's Learning Team. Acton Carnival is an event organised by arts charity Artification and celebrated its 20th year this year. Taking place in Acton Park, the event includes a carnival procession though Acton, live performances of dance and music and local food and craft vendors.

Throughout the day we welcomed over 500 people on board the bus (including a VIP – the Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor) and entertained over 100 children and adults with ‘build a bus’ and colouring activities
