ACTON CARNIVAL

Acton Carnival  

The Museum’s 1953 RF bus (537) made an impressive appearance at Acton Carnival on Saturday 8^th July, alongside a team of bus drivers (provided by the Friends) , other volunteers and members of the Museum's Learning Team. Acton Carnival is an event organised by arts charity Artification and celebrated its 20^th year this year. Taking place in Acton Park, the event includes a carnival procession though Acton, live performances of dance and music and local food and craft vendors.

Throughout the day we welcomed over 500 people on board the bus (including a VIP – the Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor) and entertained over 100 children and adults with ‘build a bus’ and colouring activities
