ACTON DEPOT SUCCESS

ACTON DEPOT SUCCESS

The Friends’ Sales Team followed up their successful weekend at Acton Town with three hectic days of activity at the Museum's Depot Open Weekend from 16th - 18th June. Business was brisk throughout, with maps and posters proving popular sales items. Total sales came to £5,780, bringing the total raised so far this financial year to over £14,500.

The Membership Team joined in the success, recruiting 29 new members. Friend's Chair Mike Southgate, along with Treasurer David Martin and Trustee Phil Thrower, added their support to the event and CEO Graham Miller was with the Sales Team.

Many other Friends were present at the Depot, undertaking a wide range of volunteering activities for the Museum to ensure the event was a success.

In the accompanying photo, the sales team celebrate their achievement with a ride on the LT Miniature Railway.
