MORE SALES RESULTS FROM ACTON TOWN

Friends had more successful sales days on the occasion of the further 1938 tube train runs on 10th and 11th June. These were part of the celebrations of 160 years of the London Underground. There were four trips on each of two days from Acton Town to Heathrow and back, via the Terminal 4 loop. On these two days, the Friends’ stall took £2,434 from the sale of donated items of transport memorabilia. Customers included the newly appointed Transport Commissioner, Andy Lord, who is seen making his purchase in the photo above.
