FRM CELEBRATION

It was 50 years ago, on 22nd December 1969, when FRM 1 first entered service as a one-man operated bus at Croydon garage.

To mark the anniversary, London Transport Museum Friends took the unique rear-engined Routemaster back to Croydon to retrace its operations on routes 233, 234 and 234A to Roundshaw, Selsdon and Hackbridge.
