TF 77 AT BROOKLANDS

TF 77 AT BROOKLANDS

Leyland Green Line Coach TF77 made an appearance at the London Bus Museum at Brooklands on Sunday 21st October 2018, for the Museum's TransportFest event themed around The Leyland Story .

Only two months after TF77 entered service in 1939, the coach was converted into an ambulance for use during the Second World War. It returned to Green Line service in East London from 1946 to 1953. It is now preserved in the London Transport Museum collection.

London Transport Museum's unique front-entrance Routemaster FRM 1 also attended the event. So too did the Friends' sales stall, which took just short of £1,000 from the sale of transport memorabilia.
