LTM JOINS THE CHARITY KNIEVELS

An event on Tuesday 27 May commemorated Evel Knievel’s famous jump over London buses at Wembley in 1975. It involved a meet-up of the Charity Knievals on their bikes along with two of the remaining Knievel family members.  Another key guest was the Museum’s MBA Red Arrow single-decker (which is similar to one of the ones Evel jumped over in 1975). The location is in front of Wembley Stadium at the Olympic Steps. with the arch in the background.

The Charity Knievels are a fundraising group seeking to keep the memory of Evel Knievel’s exploits alive. 

The bus was driven and stewarded by members of the LTM Friends.
