FRIENDS SUPPORT DEPOT OPEN WEEKEND

London Transport Museum Friends actively supported the Museum's successful Depot Open Weekend on 2nd/3rd July.

Friends' volunteers stewarded the heriatge bus display, which featured 1950s' double-decker RT 4825 alongside a brand new electric bus from the Abellio fleet. 

The Friends sales stall took over £3,700 from the sale of donated items of transport memorabilia, bring the sales total so far in 2022 to £16,600. This money is used to support Museum conservation projects.

17 new Friends were recruited at the membership desk.
