FRIENDS VISIT K&ESR

120 Friends visited the Kent & East Sussex Railway at Tenterden on 29th June. This is one of the largest groups taken on a visit by the Friends and is believed to be the first time that we have had exclusive use of a heritage railway, which was otherwise closed to the general public on the day. The KE&SR were generous hosts and, led by Curator Brian Janes supported by many colleagues, all gave freely of their time to ensure that the Friends had an enjoyable and informative day.
