VISIT TO READING BUSES

Our trip commences at 11.00 at Reading railway station, where we will be picked up by a Reading Buses’ vehicle. We will be taken to the company’s premises for an introductory presentation and a  tour of the depot facilities. Lunch will be at our leisure (and own cost) between 13.15 and 14.15. On return to the depot, we will take a journey on one of Reading’s buses and see something of their operating territory. We then return to the depot to say farewell to our hosts in the Reading Buses team. Our day tour will complete by 16.00 and you can then travel home at your leisure.  You should find the visit to Reading very enjoyable and informative. Reading Buses are one of the foremost and award-winning large town operators in the UK and one of the few still in municipal ownership.
