Chairman, responsible for leading the Friends in its agreed direction and has prime responsibility for its relationship with the Museum management. He also edits the quarterly Friends’ News.
Vice-Chairman, responsible for the programme of activities for members, including talks and visits, and for recruitment. Chairs the Programmes Group reviewing progress on Friends - funded projects and volunteering.
Treasurer, responsible for Friends’ budgeting and financial matters. Prepares quarterly budget reports, annual accounts and liaises with auditors.
General Secretary, responsible for the administration and smooth running of the Friends, as well as clerk to Trustees and Executive Committee.
Sales Manager, responsible for the acquisition of collectables sold through sales channels such as events, Depot Open weekends and online, making a significant contribution to Friends’ funds.
Membership Secretary, responsible for leading the membership team who deal with enquiries, maintain membership records, renewals, payments and Gift Aid.
