Friends' volunteers contributed to the success of the Weekend, acting as stewards to demonstrate vehicles and other displays, operating the ever-popular heritage bus service and Acton Miniature Railway. The Friends' sales stall did good business in transport memorabilia; and the recruitment desk signed up over 40 new Friends.
