ACTON DEPOT OPEN WEEKEND

Friends get free entry to the Acton Depot Open Weekend this coming Saturday and Sunday.

The theme is A Logo for London, celebrating the iconic roundel. Enjoy talks, arts & crafts, workshops, tours, scavenger hunts and family activities exploring the creation, evolution and impact of the famous London logo.

Other attractions include the Acton Miniature Railway, heritage bus rides and the Friends sales stall for transport memorabilia at very reasonable prices.

Oliver Green will be giving a talk on Frank Pick's design legacy at 14.30 on Saturday. ; and will be signing copies of his latest book Rails in the Road on UK tram networks

And remember: Friends have first pick of all the bargains at a special opening of the Friends sales stall on Thursday 22nd September between 1300 and 1600. Please note that there will be no access to other areas of the Depot on Thursday.
