K-TYPE IN REGENT STREET

K 424 represented the Museum at the Regent Street Association Motor Show on Saturday 31^st October. Transport for London was one of the sponsors of the event which proved very popular with the public. The K type, now 95 years young, was compared with the latest electric bus and was an instant hit with the crowds.  The photo shows Museum Friends Paul Doggett and Laurie Akehurst with the bus in a deserted Regent Street before the veteran motor cars and the crowds arrived.
