FRIENDS SUPPORT WESTBOURNE PARK OPEN DAY
London Transport Museum and its Friends gave strong support to the Open Day at Tower Transit's Westbourne Park Garage Open Day on Saturday 10th September.Museum volunteers ran story-telling sessions for younger visitors; the Museum's Safety and Citizenship display vehicle was also in attendance; as was the Friends' sales stall.
 
First World War B-type "Battle Bus" attended, along with Country Bus green-liveried Routemaster prototype RM2 and RT4712, wearing its gold livery dating from the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
 

The event also saw the first public appearance, at its former home garage, of the newly restored, CentreWest Wright-bodied Dennis Dart single-decker, in Gold Arrow colours.
