Under The Wires

Here is the itinerary:

Saturday 22^nd  October

Depart on Epsom Coaches 6-wheel Setra coach from St. Pancras at 0745 to the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft. We change vehicles nearby, to arrive on one of their heritage motor buses.  Stewart David (Managing Director of STM) has arranged a special opening for LT Museum Friends, of the largest trolleybus museum in the world, with special visits behind the scenes and a chance to ride on the fleet. A buffet lunch will be served.

 

Overnight accommodation will be at the Nottingham Harbour Holiday Inn, which includes dinner, bed and breakfast.

 

Sunday 23^rd  October

After a hearty breakfast, we make the short journey to Phoenix Park, where we will join our own tram for a tour of the whole NET system, including the new extensions – this will also include a Depot tour.  We will return to Phoenix Park to host the NET team to lunch.

 

We will depart Nottingham at 1600 and should arrive back at St Pancras around 1900.

 

The cost will be £139 per person – this includes all travel, admission to the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft, buffet lunch, one night B&B at the Holiday Inn, tram charter of the NET system and Sunday lunch.
