CRUISE TO AMSTERDAM

The highlight of the Friends’ visits this year is a three night mini cruise to Amsterdam on MV Braemar led by Roger Lock - one of the country’s leading cruise experts

The cruise departs from Dover and will take Friends to Amsterdam through the busy North Sea canal - a very impressive way to arrive in the city.

The Braemar will remain in the beautiful city of Amsterdam for 24 hours, during which period Friends will be provided with a Transport Freedom Pass, which covers trams, buses, metro, local trains, and ferries.

There will also be a tram tour and visit to the famous City Tram Museum.

The trams stop at the cruise terminal, and travellers will be able to use their passes at night as well to explore everything Amsterdam has to offer.  The additional cost of the pass and tram tour will not be more than £30.

There will be an on-board drinks reception on the Sunday morning before lunch to brief everyone on the Amsterdam arrangements. Everyone will be free to make what dining arrangements they like on the cruise - for first or second sitting - but on the Monday night the group will dine together in the Garden Restaurant.

These prices include all meals, entertainment and both use of spa and casino on board. There is a drinks package available throughout the cruise, which also includes wine with meals, for £29 per day.
