Brighton breezy tour

Our Tour will commence at Eastbourne station at 1100, and terminate at Brighton station at 1730.  We will initially follow the 13X route via Beachy Head, Birling Gap and Belle Tout to Brighton. Martin Harris, MD of Brighton & Hove, will travel with us.

On arrival in Brighton we make our way to Brighton Pier  for a champagne fish and chip lunch in the Palm Court. Our tour continues, taking in Devils Dyke, Hove, Brighton Race Course, an unmissable depot visit, and maybe a chance to see the locations of the old Brighton Corporation tram and trolleybus depots. In the afternoon, the Friends have been invited to be guests of Volk’s Railway, for a conducted tour of the line with a short shed visit.

Friends should make their own travel arrangements to Eastbourne and back from Brighton. A day return train ticket from London (Victoria) to Eastbourne is valid for the return journey from Brighton. The cost of this visit from Eastbourne to Brighton is £34 per person.
