Richard Delahoy, banker and part-time bus driver, shares his love and knowledge of the City Coach Company of Brentwood.
It started as a London independent bus operator but diversified in the 1920s with what was later to be their main route, between Kentish Town/Wood Green and Southend.
The City Coach Company ceased to exist in 1953 when they were taken over by Westcliffe on Sea Services and nationalised.
